Thankful.

I’m thankful for so many different reasons and it’s hard to put them into words. So here are just a few.

I’m thankful for:

My God, who has my entire heart and knows me better than anyone else.

My Dad, who constantly is there for me whether it’s from breaking into my car when I lock my keys, binge-watching The West Wing with me, teaching me how to putt a hole in one from 20 feet away, to always taking me to Disneyland.

My Mom, who always joins me when we make sound effects when making tight corners in the car, when we binge-watch The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, when she lets me show her countless Vines, when she shares my joy in funny baby costumes on Pinterest and when she holds me tight in her arms and kisses my head.

My sister, Amy, who never fails to protect me from when we were little and some girl tried to strangle me in the McDonalds ballpit to always taking my side when I think someone is being an idiot. I can count on her to come up with a gnarly supportive comment that will have me splitting my sides in laughter. I am thankful for her dark sense of humour and her passion for dreaming. I’m also so thankful to her for adding my new brother-in-law, Spencer, to our family. He fits in so well and I know I can count on him for anything.

My sister, Tori, who continuously is there when I need to watch anything mermaid-related (Aquamarine 4 lyfe), when I need her to be the logical thinker, when I need empathy because she is the one person I know who feels the most in the best possible way, and when I feel like I need a new logo for my blog, she responds with a smile and “go make a vision board on Pinterest.” I can’t function without my sisters. They are my rocks. They keep me (relatively) sane.

My friends, you all know who you are. I am so thankful for each and every one of you. To the ones who have been there since the beginning and to the ones who will be there in the end. You are amazing and I know you will always be in my life. Even if we don’t talk for a while, I will always be thankful for your friendship.

What are you thankful for? I want to know!

Connie
